Did last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live indadvertedly give a preview of how the Avengers‘ story, post Age of Ultron, is going to break down? Or was it just a parody of a popular game show?
Kimmel played the role of Richard Dawson in a round of “Avengers Family Feud”; one team, led by Chris Evans (who plays Captain America) was called “The Americas,” including Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner, a.k.a. the Hulk). The other team, led by Robert Downey, Jr. (who plays Iron Man) was called “The Mans,” and boasted Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow). (Perhaps Stan Lee could have been consulted on naming the respective teams.)

Marvel Comics fans know that the “Civil War” storyline, which will be the plot of the next Captain America movie, pitted Cap against Iron Man. But perhaps last night’s show was nothing more than a goofy take on Feud.
