If this year hasn’t had enough sci-fi blockbusters for you, there’s another one on the way: The Martian. Although to be honest, this one seems to be a bit more in line with Academy Award winner Gravity than blockbusters like Star Wars or Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Matt Damon stars as botanist Mark Watney, who is left for dead when the first manned mission to Mars is forced to make an emergency evacuation. He has to fend for himself in hopes of being able to contact his ship, or NASA, to let them know that he’s still alive.
A poster for The Martian has also been released that outlines key characters on the mission to save Mark Watney.
