Last week love won, and this week it’s getting an indie movie starring Katherine Heigl and Alexis Bledel.
The first trailer for Jenny’s Wedding was released yesterday (July 1) evening and it sees the two women cast as love interests, but the main focus of the film seems to be getting Jenny’s (Heigl) family on board with the news that she’s gay.
It’s not played for laughs, but more of a modern day tragicomedy about a woman’s family accepting her for who she is.
